About Mal

Mal was born and raised in Surrey in the UK. After studying electrical and electronic engineering at Reading University, he immediately capitalised on his degree by ignoring it completely and pursuing a career in sales and marketing.

A career spanning almost 40 years in corporate and small business environments has given Mal a diverse technical and creative background. A budding cartoonist since school days, a digital version of his book "There's no 'F' in Computers" was used in early DAB radio tests in the 1990's. This has led Mal to lay claim to being the world's first (and only as it goes!!) digital radio cartoonist.

While still actively involved in creating digital images, Mal nowadays draws just as much on his experiences, as well as his imagination, for his new-found love of writing fiction.

Interests past and present include ocean sailing, playing in a band, eating out and walks around the Buckinghamshire countryside where he now lives.
